Hello friends my bro is in USA he is using AT&T plan can he buy Apple iPhone 3G Smartphone 8GB for AT&T Wireless (Refurbished) ยป for $49 at AT&T.com in USA using the same AT&T contract or plan which he is using now.so that no need to put new 2yr contract for it….So if there is no 2yrs contract then i can ship that phone to india unlock and use it…is it all possible
No. The discounted price is only available with a new 2 year contract. If he’s less than 18 months into his current contract, he’s not eligible for an upgrade. That means he would either have to pay an additional $200 for the phone and sign a new 2 year contract or he would have to terminate his current contract, pay the Early Termination Fee ($175 less $5 for each completed month of the contract) and then buy the phone for the discounted price and sign a new 2 year contract.
