Unlock iPhone 3G pros and cons?
I recently switched to AT & T and got the iPhone 3G which I love. One of the main reasons for changing career for me is that I can enter the GSM world Cuz I go abroad from time to time. He wanted to know the downside to unlock the phone when I'm in a country different for me to use their local networks by the time I'm there for. It is also unlock something permanent? When you return to the states, I can "lock" back to the way it used to be? I know this may sound silly, but I'm not sure exactly what "unlock" the phone brings. Does damage the phone and my service in any way? Apple launches updates to the phone from time to time … i'ver heard unlock the phone that prevents updates? or receive updates on your phone locks again? I'm not sure which is correct. Any and all information on this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
