iphone 3gs apps not opening

Nokia n97 vs iphone 3gs?

I am trying to figure out if i wanna get the NOKIA N97 or the iphone 3gs
I dont care so much about games but more about productivity.

I like the ftp on the go app for the iphone and i wonder if Symbian s60 5th edition that comes on the N97 supports a similar app ? if so which one.
What I hate about the iphone is the lack of multitasking ( i wanna have skype open in the background, probably a messenger client as well and the ftp client) ….I know about backgrounder app( requiring jailbreak unfortunately) …what are your thoughts on that app or similar apps that might allow multitasking ( if so which ones )

I am scared that the 128 mb of Ram on the n97 will just not be able to handle that much multitasking but my tests on the nokia 5800 kind of eased my worries ( though it doesnt have the widgets running )

any other plus or minus for either model are very well appreciated..

IMO go for the Nokia N97.

Ill admit the changes between N97 and N96/95 are small – but they are very good.

The Iphone 3G S – there are many reports which actually dont agree that it is 2x faster, but only minimally..

The person above clearly is being smug or doesnt know anything about phones as 32GB internal memory WITH an additional 16GB optional card – so up to 48 GB – however this is merely the storage memory and has nothing to do with the speed and running of apps.

The I-Phone 3G i know had many problems with apps running and often spazzed out/crashed due to not good processing, so if you are worried about it then i think this may be a problem

Anyway i had a N95 and had many apps running – Internet, while texting and music playing , and it handled it well, did get a bit congested however nothing to worry about and was fast, just reduced battery life as was constantly in use.

As you can tell i highly support Nokia N97 and so recommend that
