Can I jailbreak my iPhone 3G OS 3.0 Beta firmware?
I am currently running OS 3.0 Beta on my iPhone 3G with a baseband of 4.20.01. I was wondering, as I have heard the dev-team say that 3.0 is jailbreakable, how I go about doing this?
I know the dev-team warns about yellowsnow users, however this is not an issue as I am content with AT&T (kinda). I am a windows user and thus limited to Quickpwn. Can I just use the latest, 2.2.5-2 version of quickpwn? Yes/No?
Will anything bad happen if I try? Or am I going to need an unreleased future version of quickpwn?
Anyone tried anything?
P.S. OS 3.0 is pretty cool. Not as laggy as I thought it would be.
No.. 3g users will need to wait for the “go-signal” from the dev-team. otherwise I would stay away from yellowsnow or quickpawn if you do not want to have a “display only iphone temporarily”.
When the dev-team announce the 3.0 is jailbreakable, they mean’t it is for the 2g versions.
Quickpawn/pwnage and yellowsnow will have them announce once they have a successful jailbreak/unlock for the 3g versions. If I we’re you, I would wait for that news.
