How to improve my wireless network?
im using a belkin wireless 54g router. i have a belkin 54g wireless usb, the router is just in the room below but cannot get it work on my desktop pc. sometimes it does and others it doesn’t, should i purchase a belkin signal booster and put this on the upper level?
You can use a signal booster I would go and buy a Netgear Range max its designed to over come the problem you have. The thing you have to way up is not only usability but also realiability. Netgear will work with Belkin. I just prefer Netgear as it has a good UI.
Main things. Try to put your current in an open and dry location, not near a microwave, radio or anything electrical as all appliances emit a low level emf that can interfere with signal stability
