I have a belkin adsl wireless router. can’t get an ip address for laptop?
If my desktop is already online i am ok and laptop will connect that way. However if my desktop is off although laptop connects to network it does not get an ip address assigned so i can’t browse the net. I have a dell inspiron 6000 with built in intel pro wireless. my desktop has a texas instruments pci wireless card and belkin adsl router/modem.
They are the worst dude if you can get a linksys Hands down the best, and there wireless systems are literally plug and play.
