Help plz. Belkin Wireless G router?
HI, I bought a belkin g wireless router, like this: http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id = Y has a problem connecting to the Internet. I think I installed it because I've followed all the steps that occurred in the installer cd. after installation in about a minute to lose the connection and the internet light on my router stops flashing I have no idea what to do please help … thanks! It's either the modem and router or communication arent you configure the router wrong. You can try to reset the modem and the router to communicate together to come back if that is the problem. Unplug the power cord from the back of both the modem router and wait 30 seconds to connect the modem to wait until the lights are solid in it and is connected then connect your router. This resets the connection when the router and everything should work out. To solve a problem caused the creation of the router incorrectly. Look at the router usually in the back is a reset button. Push it in (usually requires a needle to be pressed through a set) and hold for 10 seconds, then release and the router will reset to the factory. Now just reboot and see and record the settings you use. HTH Good luck. PS: You should only have to call your ISP the MAC address if you have installed a new modem, no router.
