How do I install a Linksys Wireless-G broadband router without the driver or CD software?
I have a broadband connection (Comcast) with a Belkin modem that I just installed, and I want to use my old Linksys router with it. The problem is that I have no cd, driver, manual or box for the router. What do I need to download to get this router configured and working with my broadband modem?
You plug the modem to the router with a ethernet cable. plug another ethernet cable to one of your computers. Leave the cable untill you finish. if you try going wireless before you configure it you loose your connection. Now open internet explorer. Type 192.168.1.1 . in the address bar. A box for the password will come up. type: administrator in username and leave the password blank. Now you should be on the router config pages Just set it up
