Belkin Wireless 802.11g Network Problem?
I can’t get the drivers for it either. The network controller isn’t working either it has a ? <--- like that in Yellow in Device Manager , it is not the belkan. I can't connect to the internet .
I have this same problem and I have tried the options you gave the above person. My laptop will not recognize the drivers for my wifi dell truemobile 1400 dual band minipcmia ) or the network controller (Belkin F5D9010). It keeps telling me that it cannot find the software when it is sitting right in my program files. the icon for the belkin card is there but it won't activate the radio button. It is not picking up any networks. I have a linksys router attached to my desktop in another room.
assuming you are running a Windows operating system…you don’t say…and I don’t like to assume.
remove both devices from the control panel + system + device manager. then run the add new hardware wizard. see if it will identify the hardware and try to reinstall the drivers. if not, get to system that will get you onto the internet and download the correct drivers from drivers.com. you will need to make a free account to do so. after you have the drivers intall them on your laptop. restart it, and rerun the add hardware wizard.
Your drivers are also available from Dell for the pcmia device.
The belkin can be found at: http://www.belkin.com/support/article/?lid=en&pid=F5D9010&aid=5707&scid=0
You could also do a system repair by using the F11 key at reboot
OR
do a system restore from the control panel + system + system restore tab + follow instructions.
good luck…
