Wired internet randomly stops for miliseconds and reconnects every 5-10 minets…?
hey,
belkin router, the times it does it is random mostly, its hard wired, OS is XP, u can barely notice it besides some IM’s disconnect and auto-connect directly afterwards… cant load videos online, ive tried several DNS servers, all make it slower than before, there is 2 wired computers (including mine) and 2-3 wireless, 2 of which r laptop, and one desktop, the wired r desktops… they all have same problem… when the main cord does not go thru router, it works perfectly fine,
is their a certain setting i need done to the router..? the router is fully updated, same with drivers… every computer has either kaspersky or norton, 2007 or 2009, so most likely no viruses, and i think thats all u need…
if u can help, IM me at

jmwiscool@hotmail.com – msn

i dont use YIM, thanks for all help
=)

Routers are very delicate, and old ones usually get broken some way or another. Same with wires. I would double check the wires and if all else fails, but a new rotuer.
