Question regarding wireless internet..please help..?
I have a Toshiba laptop and 2 wireless routers, one Westell Versalink 327W and the other Belkin. My signal strength is great but my status says ‘limited or no connectivity’. I was notified by some customer service guy that I have to download firmware from Toshiba’s website in order to connect to the wireless internet. Does anyone know where I can download this software? I already searched toshiba.com and nothing. Appreciate it.
Yes, it’s possible they are interfering with each other so try using just one. I doubt a router firmware update is going to fix this. My guess is, one way or the other some of your routers settings got messed up, what exactly could be anything so my recommendation is to reset one or both of the routers and see if that fixes the problem, of course you will have to set the encryption settings and passwords all over again.
I don’t just mean a soft reset, I mean a hard reset that will clear out all the settings so you have to go through the setup procedure just as if it were new.
