belkin wireless router firmware upgrade

by admin on March 12, 2010

Does anyone know about wireless Internet and wireless routers?

We have a wireless router (Belkin N1) and moved right. We use have 800k DSL and would get around that. Now in our new place we tried Clearwire (IP), which has a wireless modem that receives a digital signal of its tower. If you connect the modem directly to PC, get 800k, but when we connect to the router 200k. We have changed the wireless channels and updated the firmware and the difference no. Does anyone here have a Belkin N1 and had the same experience with a wireless (IP) and resolved their problems with it? I hope I was clear. Thanks

I do not know about your specific router, but can try to physically move the router to a location closer to your PC. You probably already tried, but seemed a response easy it may have been overlooked. Also make sure that if you have an N-type router, the LAN adapter card is of type N as well. All questions Troubleshooting can contact Belkin on their website. Here is a link to the specific router you have. http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id=273526
