BELKIN wireless G Plus MIMO Router??
i have it connected. but i want to be able to make it private so that only certain people can have access to the net . i checked today and saw that like five people are using it in my neighborhood. how can i do this i am already in the setup utility but its all complicated. can you help so that i can do this please??
Should be able to log in to the router, go to wireless tab and security in the wireless. There you can select type of security. WEP is popular, WPA is more secure and if the systems are newer, WPA-2 is the best. Enter a password and let it generate the code. Write down the code and save the page setting. Once done you will have to right click the Icon on your taskbar and select connect to a network. Select yours from the list and click on connect. It will want a passcode that you wrote down, then should connect. Give that code to others you want to have access. You should go back into the router and also change the login password from the default. Put both on a small piece of paper and tale it to the router for future reference.
