Belkin Wireless Router Problem?
I bought a belkin G wireless router. I have qwest DSL internet. When the desk top computer was hook straight to the modem internet was super fast. Since I hook up the router the laptop wireless internet is super fast and I have my wifi protected with a password.But the desktop now is slow and usually pops up with internet limited yellow box and if I unplug and replug in the router I can get the desktop to go online but it takes forever just to open yahoo.com. What Im I doing wrong here?
Urgh.. Not good.
Go into your router have it check whether or not there is a firmware update for it or not.
Other than that, check for any mis-wiring and that your network adapter in your PC is connecting at the expected speed or not (usually 100MBPS full duplex).
You might have a half/full duplex mismatch issue.
