How to install a Belkin Wireless G router when the cable provider (vigin media) is not compatible with static IP address
I tried again and Ive got the IP address 192.168.2.1 I've run through the building and have been on the phone a dozen times still no joy
I have a 20 MB line with Virgin and have tried several times to get the Belkin router to work without luck. At the end I got Linksys. Connecticut state exactly how the program guide and installed no probs. Maybe Belkin is not compatible with dynamic IP addresses unlike Linksys. For the Belkin PCMCIA card form of wireless laptop (if you need a laptop card!) are a breeze to install – highly recommended. Not even have to install software for the project.
