DLink router and Belkin router help?

Hi, I have just bought a new DLink DIR-615 Wireless N 300Mbps wireless Cable Router to replace my older Belkin F5D7231uk4 wireless G+ router.

This is what I want to do, I want to make the Belkin an access point so I have better range.

In the Belkin options it says “turn on access point” and when I do that I have to type in the ip address or similar to the router I want it to access from, the DLink ip is 192.168.0.1 can anyone tell me what to do and how to do it because i’ve never done it before?

Thanks in advance :)

If you’re replacing another router, then turning this on won’t do anything for your range that hasn’t already happened. Making it a WAP allows you to place it, say, half way between your existing router and another machine, and the Access Point relays the signal. If you want more range (other than getting a better antenna or amplifier) then go back to the belkin router and call dLink to walk you through setting up the WAP with their wireless.
