Is someone stealing my bandwidth?
I am using a Belkin router, G1+ MIMO.
I was using 128bit WEP encryption until recently but I switched to WPA-PSK + WPA2-PSK.
The wireless indicator is constantly flashing although I have no devices connected to the wireless network. Even when I made the changes, and the router had to restart, the wireless network indicator began flashing instantly…Could this mean that someone is connected on my network, or is it simply flashing because its activated? (I have lost the instructions manual).
Any advice or help would be appreciated!!
Check the instruction manual. It should be on the manufacturer’s website. The model number should be listed somewhere on the device.
Unless your key is easily guess trying to crack WPA or WPA2 is a waste of anybody’s time. Except maybe BlueGene/L.
