Any ideas of how to overcome problem with Belkin G Wireless Modem Router?
I use Pipex Broadband and have just purchased a laptop with a Belkin G Wireless Modem Router.
I have connected everything correctly and verified my details more than once, but every time on the final stage of setup my details are not recognised and the router fails to connect as a result.
Any ideas? I really need to connect for work commitments, so any help would be extremely well received.
First try connecting by cable and logging in using your browser as described in the router manual. Do not try wireless and do NOT use the disk. Manually set the login details, and make sure your protocol settings match the required ones from Pipex. You may need to contact them to confirm these. I am assuming you have fitted filters to every point with a phone attached, if not you will always have problems. Check the diagnostics page of the router. Once you get this working set up the wireless.
