belkin wireless router port forwarding

How do I forward my ports with my Belkin N-Wireless router? :S?

I have a Belkin N-Wireless Router and I’m wondering how to forward my ports. I’m doing this in order for other people to see my server on the San Andreas Multiplayer game list because at the moment other people cannot see my server if I try to start it up.

Here’s information on my router.

Go to http://portforward.com for all the information and instructions you need. This is the page specific to your router:

http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Belkin/F5D8233-4/F5D8233-4index.htm

You can follow any of the instruction for the different programs just replacing the port with one that you would like to forward.

Remember to to forward the port to your computer’s local IP address (usually something like 192.168.0.xx or 192.168.1.xx). You may need to assign an IP address to your computer in your network so every time you connect it has the same address (if it changes the port you have forward will be forwarded somewhere else). See this for more help: http://www.belkin.com/support/article/?lid=en&pid=F5D7230-4&aid=1488&scid=221

It is quite easy and very useful.

Good luck!

Hope this helped you
