Why is my new Wireless N Router not working?
I just bought a new linksys wireless N router. Its model is WRT320N. It is supposed to have much greater range than my old Belkin wireless G router, but I don’t know how to make the range booster work. My wireless g would connect my xbox 360 in the living room, but the wireless N will not reach it. Why is this and what can I do. I know that the 360 does connect to it when I move it over a room, but I cant leave my 360 in the kitchen…..what can I do? Thanks!!
Both the N router and the wifi adapter for your device, a G type xbox in this case, must be N type for you to get any improvement. It should, however, be at least as good as the G router. Walls, appliances etc can cut the signal to be very weak even for the N type.
