People im really annyoned with my router how do i set it up?
i get stuck at a bit where i have to on this link http://192.168.2.1 and log on to something but it only asks for password no user but it says default password isnt one so i click just logon with no password typed in and it says password incorrect but i tried to setup while ago and i forgot password and help please the make is 802.11g Wireless ADSL Router belkin if that helps?
If you have actually set the password up once and forgotten it, then resetting the router should set the password back to its default. To reset the router, look for the reset button thats usually on the back or underside of the router itself. Press and hold that in until it resets.
If you havent set a password up before, it will still be set to use the default password. Since you didnt say which model Belkin you have, I cant be more specific but its usually one of the following:
admin
guest
1111
password
Try each of them and see if you have any luck.
