Belkin Wireless G router?
Yes my router settings i like 4 months ago ….. I'm in line at a time that simply disconnects no apparent reason .. No it doesn't turn off …. I have 2 unplug then reconnect in. .. but after I do that never lasts more than 10 minutes connection in a straight line is disconnected b4 again … some1 help … n if u have a link so you can install software that would be great because I lost my cd
That kind of showing PPPoE is in the money … So if you have DSL. So what you're saying is that you actually get the connection, but is disconnected? Have you tried their usefulness router? To establish that the factory settings. If you have DSL DoubleCheck, the MTU setting in 1460 I think. Also not are supposed to have a DSL icon anywhere on your desktop, if it is there delete it and the configuration of network connection, broadband should not appear in it. Delete it. Check your local area connection make sure you are connected then go to your browser 192.168.2.1, reset to factory settings. Close the current browser and open a new one, change the type of connectin again instead of Dynamic PPPoE enter your username / pw (service name should be left blank) to verify the automatic reconnection MTU 1460 and apply the changes. And that should do it. If you have cable then I would have contact with you on that. Hope that helps (if all else fails call Belkin but know that their support is like in India or something and you'll have more of a hard time to find out what that person is no real problem getting solved)
