laging game?
I have guildwars factions and I often lag expirence game and its really annoying as super cus ill be playing and delay so DIT and Freese then im hearin sounds and ecological and messes everything happens during the battles all the time I have broadband / DSL and cable lan rune me out of my wireless router 54g Belkin and get your straight connection from the modem and my graphics card is good enough for this game its just the network connection you must have pings but there is a free software i can download to fix this problem completely or How I can fix the lag
If you are having lag that freezes the program and makes the sound to repeat that it is not a network problem. I am a network engineer for trust me on this. What is happening is that for some reason your CPU is probably at the same time maxing out this game. You can test this theory by opening a command prompt by clicking Start and going to run on the field run type CMD and press enter. In the command prompt, type ping www.yahoo.com-t and begin a persistent ping yahoo, then start the game, alt-tab regularly outside the game check the time table and see if it can be higher then the NIC is going or could be the ISP but the likelihood that almost any view of which symptoms described above. I would be willing to bet that you have a piece of spyware or malware that is stealing processor cycles.
