belkin wireless router with printer port
Having problem with Belkin router and Linksys hub working together?

I recently had a satellite internet service installed. I wanted to share this connection into my existing LAN running through a LinkSys NH1005 hub. Also wanted to add wireless capability so I bought a Belkin N router. I ran the modem to the router’s WAN port and then connected one of the Belkin’s ports to the LinkSys into its Uplink port. Then I connected my desktops and my network printer into the rest of the Linksys ports. The internet and the network printer work fine but I can no longer use the print and file sharing between my laptop and the desktops. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am in over my head.
The router is controlling the DHCP addresses. Still can’t see my desktop computer from my laptop. Does the network name matter? My laptop has both a etherenet connection and a wireless conneciton. Does this require some special setup? Like I said before, I am in over my head.

Check that they are all getting addresses in the same subnet. If so they should connect. Now you are using the router for the wireless you should really set all the machines to use the router dhcp.
