Best wireless network adapter and router?
Okay, first I’m pretty much a noob when it comes to computers. My dad builds computers and he built my computer out of spare parts. So, most of the stuff is top of the line but about two years old. It runs great and plays WOW and Sims 3 perfectly. Unfortunately he doesn’t know a whole bunch about wireless networking. Right now I’m using a linksys adapter (wusb54gc). It’s pretty old and on the fritz. Not sure about the router other than it’s pretty old too and it’s a Belkin G. Anywho, I’m lookin to replace both.
My dad bought a Belkin N Wireless USB network adapter today, but I’ve read a bunch of bad things about it and Belkin in general. Any of you computer whizzes have any recommendations? Or should I just stick with what he bought?
Nothing wrong with Belkin, I use it and its fine. Just make sure you have a Belkin N Wireless Router to match! If you do want to change then Netgear is also a great make.
