What is the best wireless router?
My dad and I use the internet for primarily online gaming. Lately it seems that our Linksys Wireless G w/ Speedbooster isn’t putting out a good wireless signal for my adapter to pick up. I am just curious what your guy’s thoughts are about this. Budget not being a big concern
All wireless have problems for long term connections. So if possible connect to your Lan with a wire. It’s faster and more reliable.
By LinkSys is about as good as it gets. Consider solid obstructions, like a chimney in the center of the building; or brick walls. Try to imagine the line of sight.
Remove those cheap cordless phones. Just by moving a cordless phone by a few feed can reduce the amount of interference. Yes, keep these cheap devices away from your Router and your laptop.
Why wireless? Yeah, it sucks. Whenever possible, go WIRED.
