best wireless router for gaming windows vista

Online Gaming and Connections in Remote Areas.?

My cousin is using HughesNet satellite internet(he can’t get DSL as he lives too far away), but his Xbox Live connection is horrible. It’s something with the latency and we don’t know what to do about it. I’ve heard that you could use wireless connect card like from Sprint, but I’m not sure how that might work.

Could anyone explain how that might work(He was a windows vista pc and a netgear wired router) and if anyone has had any success with it.

I have no idea how these “cards” work or if they have enough bandwhich or are good for gaming.

We’re trying to play Halo 3 and need to know about any free trials or stuff of the sort cuz he’s got a 2 year contract. Best way to sop that.

You need to contact the provider and find out what the best bandwidth is for their cards. I have 3 MB DSL and I still see lag sometimes on Halo 1.
