Wireless N is good to my PC?
I just bought Netgear RangeMax Next Wireless-N Router (WNR834B) with adapter about $ 130.00 Due to the store told me it's best to buy now. But when I come home and surch information, says Wireless-N is still new and stay with Wireless-G. I only use the computer to surf and email. I do not play. Should I get Wireless-G? If so, what time should I arrive? What follows is my spec. OS is XP Home Edition Wireless LAN 802.11a / g pro Pentium 4 2.80 GHz 60 GB HDD 512 MB DDR SDRAM Many thanks.
Since it came with an adapter that works, but be sure to disable the device G. Internal Sounds like you purchased a shop unit gets the best price / profit on the sale. Was Best Buy and a Netgear system? If possible, I recommend you return and get a Linksys WRT54G with increasing speed out. You should only be $ 49-59. It's a good solid unit with excellent support. speedup is only necessary in a multi-computer configuration in a small business. Be sure to configure security, change the password, and set the wireless channel 11 to avoid interference.
