Should I bring my laptop? How much is usually to use Internet cafes in the UK??
I came to the United Kingdom for 3-4 months this winter, and I'm trying to decide whether it would be best to bring my laptop and try to find an Internet service to use over there, or whether it would be best to go only to Internet cafes. I'm afraid if I bring my laptop, will always have the anxiety of getting the stolen addition to the discomfort of having to carry around all the time. But I do intend to use the internet a lot at night, wondering what would be the best advice to follow. could someone please explain what a Hot Spot "is exactly? I have a laptop that was wirelessly using a router in my house, but I am totally new all these wireless features. What do I need to buy for my laptop to use it further without having to subscribe to Internet services? Are there are many access points in the UK?? where in general? What about this chip or something you can buy that is installed on your laptop that allows Internet access?
