Issues having with my laptop wireless adapter?
I have an HP dv9000 laptop with Windows Vista Home Premium version loaded. Yes I know that HP is not the best and yes, know Vista has problems, but here is my problem. A friend of mine came over and was having connection problems my wireless router, so I started to play with my team to try to figure out the security settings to copy to your computer. In the process, which should be removed a profile, or turn off my internal network adapter (external switch is safe) or something to make my wireless stop working. I brought the laptop to work where we Netwrok and an unsecured laptop is finding the router here at work, but does not connect to the Internet. The fact that your place of work recognizes the router laptop internally also means that your laptop is fine. Do not try meddling in the internal hardware – it seems that it is not necessary!
