What is the best wireless N router with USB storage link?
I am looking for a good quality 802.11n wireless router that also has a USB port for storage. So far I have been unsuccessful but if anyone knows of a work around or a product that does all this please post them. I would be using the USB storage for backing up computers on the network.
In response to Colinc… they definitely exist. there are quite a few wireless N routers that allow you to hook up your USB external hard drive for network use. I know Belkin, Lynksis and D-Link make one and many others.. just wasn’t sure which was the best one for me.
Oh I also wanted to note that I am running Vista on my primary laptop which has the 802.11n wireless card and Windows XP on the two desktops that will also be connected.
Installed an Airport Extreme for someone yesterday. Although the setup wasn’t as smooth as other routers, the USB printer/external hard drive feature is sweet. I only set-up the printer, but all I had to do was plug it into the USB on the Airport Extreme and worked with no hassle. I had one PC and one MacBook on the network.
