I need to switch internet services?
I live in Ventura County, California and currently have a wireless router through my land line with internet provided through AT&T. Every time my land line rings it disconnects me from the internet. I called AT&T and asked if I could have the land line turned off and just have internet only and their reply was that I would have to be without internet for 5 days while they make the switch. 5 days! Now I figure the best option is to find a reliable and affordable wireless internet provider and once that’s set up call AT&T and be done with them. I recently had my cable tv turned off because I don’t watch it and in the process Time Warner ticked me off so please do not suggest them (another long story). Any Suggestions?
Find out if the phone company offers DSL . It works thru your phone line and you can talk on the phone and be on the internet at the same time.
