what is the best Wireless Router to get for the best speed I’m running a Cable modem?
Matching router to your Wireless card is critical for best speed in the N type. There are many different styles and some will only give you G speeds although both your router and card maybe N. The N series is relatively obvious, but my current favorite is the Netgear Wireless RangeMax N. However, I highly recommend you look at current stats before making a purchase as they change constantly since Wireless N is not yet standardized. A lot is going to depend on your standard range from the router. If you find yourself constantly a short distance away vs. across the home, you will want a different router.
I have seeing disappointing performance from the last output of Belkins but loved their Pre-N router. I have heard better reviews as of late regarding the Linksys line, but personally have found them to be quite flaky the last two years.
