best wireless routers for dsl modems

What’s the best router to use for my wireless enabled laptop?

I currently have a DSL connection on my laptop but I use the wire that’s hooked up to the modem. I know that I have to get a wireless router to have wireless internet but what kind of router? Some say that they are for Cable/DSL or Broadband but what’s the difference if any at all? What do all the numbers and letters mean after the name of the router? Please help.

I have a linksys router, which then comes with a wireless adapter. The modem is then programmed into the router and therefore you can have more than one computer hooked up to it. I have two and it works great. You can purchase these through wherever you have your DSL service through, Walmart, or Radio Shack. A word to the wise, it’s probably going to be cheaper at walmart. I think you can even go to Walmart.com and check out the prices. I hope this helps
