How Do I connect an XBOX 360 to a wireless network?
I have a Westel WIRELESS GATEWAY cable/dsl router.
What is the best way to connect an XBOX 360 to this router wirelessly?
Do I have to buy the brand namedd Wifi adapter from Microsoft or am I allowed to plug the Xbox 360 into ANY wireless access point and then link it to my router?
Is the Microsoft WIFI for 360 better/ easier to use than a regular Wifi adapter?
You need the Microsoft WiFi Adapter for 360 if you want wireless access.
Another way you can use wireless without buying Microsoft’s adapter is to purchase a gaming bridge which tend to be much cheaper (however you need to plug in the wireless bridge and you need a LAN cord to connect the xbox to the wireless bridge)
Bottom line is, if you want the most convenient wireless access, get the Microsoft adapter.
