I'm pretty sure the settings are in poor condition. Could someone please help me on how to get this a trap? I really need help from scratch … ie, which wire goes where … Sorry to be a nuisance! = (Oh and I'm not a techie, so do not know much computer jargon .. Here are some details. Wireless Router: Belkin Wireless-G Router 2.4Ghz-802.11g (has 5 ports, one that says "Modem" 4 saying "cable equipment" also has a power port, of course. My current wired router is a D-Link DSL-504G ADSL Router. It has a port that says "ADSL" (this wire goes to the wall) and 4-port that connects to the PC. You may consult your router manual, etc and see Help and Support team if you run Windows. I had the same problem recently. As do is (very rarely use wireless) I do not use a router. I can make a direct connection. Turn the wireless switch on all PC, then look how to configure a wireless network in its aid program (depending on your OS). Find a wireless network setup. This is the case in my XP and Vista. Follow instructions. You may have to use a flash drive for this. This also includes the creation of passwords, etc. Even I can do this in most cases. Only A few days ago had not established the connection after working hard all morning. Waste time. Well, that was my suggestion.
