Help with setting up my d-link dir-300 wireless modem, no installation CD and I'm on a wireless newb?
I have a modem Wireless out of work is good. I lost the installation CD and I have to get my wireless working. I searched Google a bit and most people estimated to be working if I just put in the ethernet cable and a wireless router between the modem and wireless Ethernet LAN port, but the pc does not detect or anything. He has also said things to download drivers or whatever, but I can not find what you need in the dlink website. Any help in getting it to work? I'm pretty wrong with these things so please do not be lazy or a link to the website dlink me or anything. Thanks!
~ OK, you do not need an installation disk. A assistant integrated into the router. Connect the base routers blue ethernet cable modem working. Connect to any of the four ethernet jacks. Start your Internet browser and type 192.168.1.1 (This is correct for most of the products D-link) and the password is usually administration. then start the setup wizard.
