I need help understanding this @_@?
So I have a D’Link DIR-615 wireless N router and I pressed a little button on the right side of it, it started flashing so blue so …
I was worried if I did something wrong, so I checked the internet
I came to this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wi-Fi_Protected_Setup
It says, the flashing-blue-button-when-pressed is a “standard for easy and secure establishment of a wireless home network.”
That’s a good thing right?
So me accidentally pressing the button is a good thing?
I want to know if it is because I WANT THE BLUE LIGHT GONE!!
(Ps. I tried to turn it off by pressing the button again, but it won’t work. T`T)
No it says Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) is a standard for easy and secure establishment of a wireless home network. the blue button did nothing to affect your network and you can turn it off if you can figure out how to. probably just unplug it for about ten seconds then plug it back in.
