d-link wireless router dir 615 troubleshoot

D-Link Wireless router problems …?

I have called D-Link and they told me how to solve my DIR-615 wireless router and still every time My PlayStation 3 is connected to the router the router stops working. I am no expert in technology at all and my dad is tired of restarting the same one he has made about 10 times. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? PS3 still, 2 days later stops router. Can someone please help me? I'm so confused and I'm sick of being a PS3 without the internet.

Assign a static IP address to the PS3 (and other computers, if desired). That alone cut my router problems in half. I have no a PS3, but it seems you also have to configure port forwarding. The first link below has step by step instructions.
