How do I check if my router is broadcasting in "wireless-n?
I have a D-Link Xtreme N Gigabit Router (DIR-655) and Dell Wireless 1510 Wireless-N WLAN network card. Trying to maximize speed. Get the download speed: 2843 kbps (355.4 KB / sec transfer rate) Upload speed: 345 kbps (43.1 KB / sec transfer rate), which is the same as my old router. He wondered if there is more I have to do to allow higher speeds.
Router usually not the bottleneck. Most likely, the speed of your supplier is giving that is choking down.
