Where I can get a driver for my router?
I have a D-Link (model WBR 2310) wireless router and I need a driver for it. Where I can find on our site. I'm trying to get it to work so you can run my laptop at home and I am going wrong. I am running Windows XP and using modem cable and network provided by Brighthouse.
Routers do not need drivers. As has been said you must use a network cable to complete the setup initial. The router should have come with a disk that has the manual on how to configure the wireless network. Make sure to use at least WPA or WEP to protect your connection or to be open to all around you. If you have problems or do not feel comfortable doing I would recommend setting the local computer store making settings to make sure things are correct and secure. I also find places like Best Buy charge way to much for this setup to try and use a computer store in place of good reputation.
