Wireless problem?
He has installed a wireless network but am having trouble connecting. I have one router in the living room, and a usb receiver about 10 meters. The connection is fine until you try to connect to a website. Whenever they have some kind of Internet activity, the connection is removed and resets automatically. Usually, the website I'm looking at open, however there is a lot of programs, while the bond disruption constant as MSN Messenger, Skype or Limewire are renderred useless. Has anyone has this kind of problem? I'm not sure if the router or the d-link USB receiver that I bought yesterday. I'll try a USB extension which should allow me to put the USB receiver into the line of sight of the router. I also bought a high-end router Again, however, the Internet connection is via ethernet, while the ADSL line I have is a phone line. is there such a thing as that ADAPTOR transfers the signal to your Ethernet cable.
If the router, and both compatible USB receiver? Are they also set up correctly?
