i cannot log in 192.168.0.1 to open a port on my router …?
I type in 192.168.0.1, but the custom page open. I tried disconnecting everything and shutdown and restart so I have not also the system configuration and the ip cmd. my default gateway is 192.168.0.1 192.186.1.1 not like some other netgear and linksys and D-Link routers. I have also tried to ping 192.168.1.1 in cmd prompt and got a response timeout, but I get the 192.186.0.1 32 bytes lost everything, so I know the IP address of your right so now what? hours 6 to 1 week to respond. Additional details of using the browser and nothing connected through Ethernet cable is all ready wireless technology has changed with the button on the back made every 20 seconds and on and still didn't work bu I did step by step as netgears website said
Is your laptop connected to the router with a cable … or wireless? I suggest a cable. I had the same problem and all that cat5 cable needed was a direct connection to the router (just to adjust settings in the router, then, that did not need the cable). Bruce
