How I can connect a wireless router for my laptop?
Router D-Link WBR-2310 is portable ACER Aspire 3050. Router is working and I'm getting signial to laptop. It says "Acquiring network address" for about a minute and then at the bottom of the while an error appears that says "Windows-System error There is an IP address conflict with another system on the network" I do not know what it means. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Each computer on the network has an IP address (usually written as 192.168.0.5) only identifies the network. The router must allocate all the teams from different IP addresses, but for some reason, your laptop is assigned the same IP address as another computer that already in the network. Change the network settings to use DHCP if you are not already doing so, or use a fixed IP address that is not already taken. Good luck!
