DSi wireless connection problem?
I have a DSi when it came out … and I did not play games online with it, coz I'm still finishing the story mode … so my wireless router is configured in WPA … I had no problem connecting to the WPA router to update my software, games downloads (DSi Store), Internet (DSi Browser) … after I'm done playing acquire IP address error code 52,001, so I checked my manual operations enabled DHCP settings and manually entered the IP address I checked one more time … and the same error message appeared … so I changed the settings open network …. still will not work! I tested it on a DS Lite … still does not work … but the rest of my computers are working … It's just my DS I which is due to my router …. or just my DSi …
Error Code: 52001 Our experience has shown that this error message is solved by performing of a manual configuration on the Nintendo DS. Please follow these steps: First you have to do is find out what IP address range you should use. For it: Click the "Start" button on the left bottom corner of your computer. You will then need to access the command line. To this: Windows XP users click "Run." Windows Vista users click inside the search bar. Type "cmd" into the box and press Intro. Type "IPCONFIG / ALL" and press Enter. The IP address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway and DNS servers of the PC on the screen. The address IP to be assigned to the Nintendo DS must be 10 digits higher than the PC. (For example, 192.168.1.100 becomes 192.168.1.110). The DS and the PC must have different directions IP. Type in the same exact values of its subnet mask, Default Gateway, Primary DNS and Secondary DNS. Should be the same for the Nintendo DS and PC.
