Best wireless router for my apartment?
I just purchased an HP dv9000 and can connect to decent speeds of other wireless networks in my complex, but I want my own and I want one quickly. I have a cable modem connected to my desktop. I'm kind of new to wireless networks and all because this is my first notebook and so all I want of that simple fact. I am willing to spend more than $ 150 and have been looking @ D-Link Xtreme N Gigabit Router ™, but I need opinions first. Thank you.
Recommmended used and the Linksys Wireless G for ages. (WRTT54G-$ 49-59) They make a whole with increased speed, but is only useful with multiple computers. What you, leave the SSID, change the password in the registry and put it on channel 11 to help eliminate interference.
