d-link wireless router n series
can you use a nintendo usb connector if you have a wireless router already hooked up?

i have a d-link DIR-655 wireless router in use (n series) for my xbox 360, tivo, and wii. problem is, it is configured with WPA security, so my ds cannot connect to it (ds only uses WEP security), and i don’t want to reconfigure it and have to reset all my “toys”. i have a nintendo usb connector from the days before i had all these things that needed a wireless connection. can i use it to connect the ds without messing with the router? i’m talking for like 10 minutes, tops. just long enough to download some new puzzles for one of my games, then remove it.

Yes, it’s completely separate.
