IRC crashes my modem?
For some reason most of the time when I try to use IRC it crashes my modem(the internet stops, and only the power light is left on).
I’m using a D-Link modem with a router supplying my wireless.
I’ve tried XChat, mIRC, and the browser-based client on quakenet.org. I just about always get the message “-irc.quakenet.org- *** No ident response” and then my modem crashes on me.
P.S. Is there any way to respond to answers?
IRC doesn’t crash your modem (it can’t)…
You just have a bad connection, call your ISP.
