Is Linksys Wireless G-Range expander compatible with D-link DIR-655?
I was trying to extend the range of my router DIR-655, but was wondering if the linksys G range expander works on it? If Yes? How? Thanks
It will work. Whether you can set things up properly is another matter. Setting up wifi repeaters (that’s what the “range expander” is) isn’t as easy as it sounds.
One router can usually be set to cover any normal house, even on multiple floors. Each situation is different but, basically, locate the router centrally, use a router with at least 2 antennas, and set one antenna horizontally and the other vertically.
