If you are trying to create a WEP key in the router will have to access it. Go to Start>> Run cmd and press enter. When MS-DOS window appears type / ipconfig and remember the default gateway IP address. Now go to your web browser and type http://default.gateway.ip.address It will ask for your username and password in general, if you never preset a new user or do not pass your user name and password or admin as administrator admin user and pass. Then just look around in the router (usually network connections), there must be a WEP key sub tab. After establishing the key to restart the router. At this point, it would be necessary to enter the wireless settings on your computer if you connect wirelessly and input the WEP key just put online.
Secure my wireless router with WPA (enhanced security)
